In recent times the price of plywood, laminates and block boards has seen an increment of 3 to 5 %. There are several reasons for this increment. We have mentioned several points here that are the main reason behind the increased price in OCTOBER 2018.

With the steep increase in the cost of raw material and the petrol/diesel cost, all the plywood industry is going for an increase in pricing. The huge hike of fuel is impacting the transportation industry rapidly and transportation is a very necessary side of delivering plywood and other heavy products.

The glue is at its all-time high and is used as a main component to make plywood. There is a huge rise in the labor cost because of the recent inflation. As the basic resources are going up the demand for physical labor is also going upwards.

 Several trade associations have called in for a meeting and have mutually agreed to increase the prices of all the plywoods by 3 to 5 %. Wef from October 2018.

 Keeping every situation in eyes we have no choice left except accepting the association's decision.
